In March 2005, I completed my very first short film for my undergraduate thesis at Cogswell College. It has just completed its film festival run and is now available for download.

Watch it here (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6725559231192754042&q=egghunt) on Google Video!

..or from the CGSociety feature story here:

Enjoy!

Hey there! Also looking forward to see this one. But i have some minor crits or comments if you like. At the end of the trailer when the hunter climbs the rock, his leg intersects with the rock. I suppose that's not sand or something like that and i think you don't want to have it for a festival version. As i've said before really looking forward to this short.

Paul: Hey man...it was good to finally see your little film.

Comments-wise...I thought it was a good idea....extremely simple but nonetheless I think that helped it.

As for the animation...it wasn't too bad....there were some issues with limbs going through rocks and stuff, and most of the shots were very "one track minded" (ie...in each shot a character only had to do one action...there wasn't a lot of complicated acting going on)....but overall it was a nice piece :)

The program is designed to introduce young children and adults to the richly varied world of film. Admission is free and no preregistration is required. Egghunt will be screened as part of this year's fall series. Details TBA.
