The Roof, using texture isnt too good, but its much much easier, i have tried to model the roof, but cant put that all together, so there are two renders, one with texture roof, other with modeled, but not completed roof!

Hey not a bad start there.

if you go for the modelling rather than the texturing the roof then all you need to do is add a ridge tile that runs down the gap that u have there.

Remember to add lots of detail such as curbs etc ...oh and the edges of the building look a little sharp.

Good Start

Hi,

Nice roof :)

Your house is missing a foundation. There needs to be an area between the ground, and the bricks that protects the house from frost, and water.

Right now everything is just sitting on the ground, and this doesn't look right.

I would definetly model the roof tiles. It would look a lot better.

The pillars next to the door looks kinda weird. Those are like the holders for candles. Maybe try another design for those.

The brick texture on the ground is way too big. Make it smaller and add a bump.

And yes, the foundation is essential.

Ok i have done some more stuff! Overdone the house walls, cos the roof was too complicated, now its easier to make. Changed some textures. Dont know what to do, to make house better go with ground, dont want to make fundaments. Still verry much stuff to do, the lighting still sux, cos havnt worked on that at all. So waiting for more suggestions! http://www.myimagehub.com/userfiles/drzerg/More%20done.jpg

there's too many things to crit here. what I'd suggest is using a real house for ref (and if possible get the floor plans) and concentrate on the geometry making live measurements where possible. usually people start by modeling their own house first since all these things are readilly available. if you knew some stuff about construction and archecture, that would help you way more than any suggestions we could give you here.
