Ive got this scene i want to do involving a satellite orbiting a planet. Ive already modeled the satellite and have built it to real world dimensions. Whats the best way to go about modeling a planet? Work flow? Scale? SmoothShift? The frame is gonna be pretty much filled with the planet; maybe a small sliver of black space, with the satellite orbiting in the foreground...just a few seconds long.

Thanks

Guys, these look like fairly useful tutorials so I stuck them in the LW Tutorials section. Hope you don't mind. :)
