They're really trying to steal Maya users, aren't they :P
Although to make my post a useful post, it looks like XSI 5.0 is lookin' like a really nice update. If those ridig body dynamics are good, then XSI will be quite complete indeed.

novodex dynamics is one of the most rock-solid, stable and feature rich dynamics engine on the market... oh boy this is sooooo great.

Well i think its time for me, after the not so impressive Max 8 features, i think it could be time to switch!!

this is too much...*sob*...its all just so beautiful :love:
I don't even use maya and the new alt-nav is a godsend. XSI has the strangest viewport controls I've ever used. I'm pretty comfy with the 's' key navigation as it is but I'll definitely be swapping over to the alt key when I update.
As for the rest of the stuff... man, color me impressed. So glad I invested in this software!
