Maya vs The Cathedral by Tomasz Bagiński.
It's my latest nightmare. The first and the last problem with geometry animation at once and in one. Joining together a few simple effects:
- curve grows with endpoint ramification [simple geometric progression, segment by segment]
- geometry is rising along growing curve
It's a lot of ways to overcome and build such complex of simple effects joined together. I wan't to use keyframes every time i change root geometry by hand.
I want you to direct me towards proper methods or give me soluton.
Can i get it using simple geometry morphing or using specialized MEL script to ramificate curve's enpoints?
Any links, tutorials, howtos, example files?
I marked a few points i'm interested in at A,B,C,D sequences below:
