Hi i'm working on this gas station for a turnbased strategy game such like jagged alliance 2. i hope you like it. the inside is a lttle bit empty at the moment but i will creates more interior things soon.

really nice texturing and clean mesh. The car is great.
Maybe you spent the building some more polys to get away from that extremly blocky look.
Beside that, great work.
A comercial game or hobby project?

Really good work, the texture on tanks is really good, but the tireds looks wierd.

@florian: it's a hobby project of some experienced people.
i made the owner of the gas station:
keep in mind that this is for a strategy game so the models will be seen from some distance, so they are very low poly.

Hey, like it, looks real nice. I think the building would benefit from some small details like an aircon on the roof or a light on the wall etc. I agree with kOmoo about the tires..

If you keep the polycount of the tires in mind, they came out pretty good. But its a smart you kept them in the shadow.

Maybe you could spent the character some extra polys for the sleeves. Or paint shadow between jacket and trouser to seperate it a bit more. Shadow under his cap would also be nice, but I guess textures will be switched between different characters.

nice work...love the textures....I do game art and environmental stuff for console games...sometimes the xbox and playstation specs really irritate me, but our ingame stuff is very comparible to your poly use here....sometimes even smaller counts..(its amazing what you can fake where environmental art is concerned), but surprisingly when I see it in game it always looks alright. And where next gen stuff is concerned, I've seen some of our companies tests with the unreal engine 3, its not that polycounts are much higher..its just that the next gen engines do A LOT more through surface detail and materials.
sorry to get off on a tangent....very nice work though!
Hard to form an opinion on the character, the pic is only from one angle, and a bit small...but what I see looks pretty cool.
post more environments man....

This looks great! The textures are clean and sharp and have all the right details. I agree though, some billboards or air conditioning units or maybe trash cans would help out a lot!

i think they changed too many things in the new jagged alliance 3d. it doesn't build up this tactical feeling which jagged alliance 2 has.

Hey the work looks nice...but it seems you alot of wasted space on your texture maps. Use as much "real estate" as possible. But don't get me wrong, I think your textures are really well painted.
