Hello everyone,
This is an animation I made during the spring of 2005. This is mostly a one-person project (I didn't make those musics).
I did all the concept design, modeling, texturing, and rigging, and I hand-animated all of the characters after I conducted motion studies from several Kung Fu and break dancing movies.
Enjoy:

I also built a 3D demo portfolio with the Unreal RunTime Engine. (This is another one of my one-person projects.) This animation appears in the portfolio. Also, other 3D modeling and texturing work and 2D illustration works are exhibited in here.
You can explore the whole interactive demo reel here:

Feel free to leave some feedback.
Thanks

I liked, I think it is pretty cool. However I would suggest when the kick hits the alien, perhaps extend the leg a bit more. Cause it doesn't relly feel like it touches the alien that much so that I can't really feel the kick would be that powerful. The motion looks ok tho execept for the flip timing seems a bit fast.

Ha ha. Makes me laugh every time, Ke.
Your musical choices are impeccable.
If you'll allow me to critique the animation now at a very nit-picky level, that is what I shall do. 1) the first chapter, with the robot, seems all just a bit too slow (especialy noticeable during the walk, and when the VHS is falls)... even as if gravity were less in-effect during that section. 2) Aras loses her sense of weight at a very few moments during the dance... they are a) 0:44 - she snaps back up straight too quickly and rigidly) b) 0:52 - her feet fall too gingerly c) 0:54 - she needs to flex her weight-bearing arm or whip her legs on the hold to get that amount of spring out of it d) 1:00 - the back flip, same issue, she needs more anticipation, both to accomplish that physically and to help the viewer follow it.
3) watch your arcs around 0:45, 0:46, 0:53 it gets a bit jerky in there.
4) poly is right about the kicks... more follow-through (AND anticipation, I would add) to help the viewer feel their force. The more they affect HER balance, the more powerful they must have been to the victim.

So cool,
Keep on,
Henning
