Hey everyone,

I'm not sure if anyone remembers my postings about 2 months ago concerning a project that I'm leading so I'll start with a little description. Along with a few friends I have created the foundation for a series of episodes of a computer animation to be published on the internet for free. The name of the series is Galaxy B.C., and quite a bit of work has already been done in preparing for its release.

The goals for this project are to create a following and community much like the adult swim cartoons, or to relate more to the internet community, the red vs. blue series. By doing this, I hope that the Blender community will grow even more as a benefit to everyone.

In order to create a consistently operating team, I am looking for more people to help with character modelling, "world" modelling, and animation. I have some experience in all three of these areas, but to be honest I am not as good as many of the people here, and if I continue to be the sole modeler and animator on this project it just won't move fast enough.

If anyone is interested, please visit www.galaxybc.com (http://www.galaxybc.com/) . There you can read more about the positions and what's required, and we have recently put the theme song up as well. I have the first three episodes nearly ready for production, and I have to say that the testing we have done on these episodes have gone very well. People should really enjoy this series if we can get the talent that I've seen around this community involved.

As a note about the visual style of the series, I would like to point out that it will look like a stylized cartoon. The characters are textured with simple shaders, and they are proportioned slightly in odd ways to keep a comic feel to the series. If anyone is interested I will be glad to discuss this further along with sharing the scripts.

If this project works as well as I am hoping it will, this will be something new and very beneficial to the Blender world. I hope to hear from you guys soon.

Take it easy,
Anthony
