Correct me if Im wrong but is XSI only runable on XP? I am running on ME and dont want to waste 170mb's downloading something that doesnt work.

Is "SOFTIMAGE|XSI Mod Tool version 4.2" the correct one?

If you really wanna get started, i reccommend you download the maya personal learning edition - its completely free and is great for learning purposes - you can get that here:

with a copy of maya, you can try most of the rigs in this thread:

You need the appropriate piece of software to open the files with the rigs in, the software is very expensive, but luckily the companies provide trial and educational versions.
