4hrs.
I thought it would be cool to do a continuation from "My Knight In Shinning Armour" thread. Of course, in this piece, Arthur catches Q with Lance.

The Vux: Thankfully, he left his shirt on for his fantasy Island moment. All he needs is a kick to the rump and a few hundred million squats and crunches. Then he can beat up his reflection. Beautiful sketchy lines.
bastardme: Nice contrasting color scheme. Beer also parties with it's good buddy, Liver Disease and Jaundice. Unfortunately, they make the ladies sick. :D
danielh68: Arthur throws quite a hissy fit. Like he couldn't get a better Q somewhere else. No need for heroics in that cave. He should just point at Lance and laugh. Amazing work, of course, and fantastic idea to continue a character across sketches. Time to summon Merlin, and send him to the stone age for his computer. :bounce:
Mine, after two hours in PhotoShop:

Clearly, posting it beneath Dan's is absolutely numb. But, at least I can say, uhm, once, I sketched under some naked royalty. :bounce:

Here's mine. This popped into my head the second I saw the words naked and truth.

Drawn, scanned and finally coloured with Paint Shop Pro. About 30 minutes. I was a bit bored and didn't feel like coding, so I'm glad this topic is around :)
First 'real' entry here for me.

Hey Everyone,
Well, this isn't really a concept piece in the strictest terms but rather an homage.
For me, "The Naked Truth," came to me 2 1/2 years ago in the form of the birth of my son, Logan. I think that moment was to me an awakening of many sorts and I have never seen the world the same way again.
Another awakening (in a different way) came to me years earlier when I first saw the works of J.C. Leyendecker. In his works I saw the truth of art.
So this sketch, which was done in Painter 9 and took about 2 1/2 hours, is for my son and done (poorly) in the style of Leyendecker (the grid in the background was added since most of Leyendeckers sketches have a grid.) I don't pretend to have Leyendeckers skills but I hope my idea comes across.
To Ravioli and Daniel, Excellent Job. Thanks for the warm welcome you all have given me as I try to get back into art.

switchstance: Vicious characiture. At least he has a choice of folds to hide his Light Saber.
TheDagger: Nice tattoo work. I suppose its healthy to have such images emerge when you hear the word naked. Although I notice part of the sketch is left blank, so you're hiding something. If you also think about noodles, then I'm glad you kept it secret. :applause:
TheParrot: Lovely lines and watercolor effect. That one creepy household. Even the dog's naked. Must be a scene from Shaves of Our Lives. :D
11th Door: You needn't wait to get back into art. You never left, and are already there. Maybe sketch a scene of your son smashing your caveman like a Flintstone.
No. Nevermind.
The two sketches work marvelously enough on their own. :bounce: Inspiring work. :applause:
danielh68: Since your adding a forest, you might as well Imposto some rabid guard squirrels, to bite Sir Arthur. Legend has it Lancelot was a notoriously dirty figher, often enlisting the aide of outcast forest beasts. Beautiful masterwork. :D

This is my first post to the daily sketch group. Hopefully i can find the time to do this daily/semi-daily, it seems like a great way to build skill.
I thought a take on the fable of The Emperors New Clothes fit the topic pretty well, so here's my rendition.

xodibox:  Amazing sketch. The perspective on the foot is most impressive. That pervert giant deserves a good lancing. Or perhaps the princess will just chew his fingernails off. Take that, smelly oaf! :applause:
reaver_ripper: Not crappy. Fine expression and pose. Perhaps justice is blind in that eye, too, and just has really sensitive hearing, and intends to clunk the bribing crooks on their melons.
yAdam: Fine quick shading and hair styling. Looks as though he about to rip off his flesh, and throw it at his gym instructor. You can't make me do push ups, BenGay-head! I'll flay myself and stain your stupid tumbling mats and rubber balls! :applause:
