Hi, having some problems getting nice text. According to the help files, you do the following:
- Use Create | Text tool to create some Nurbs text
- Select a Letter (s) and use Surface | Bevel to get beveled text.
This works fine, however the bevelled text ends up being hollow. When you render it, there's a whole in the middle of it.
Couple of Q's:
1. How do I get rid of the hole ? I tried selecting the Isoparm, and using Surface | Planar. This made it planar, but it is messy and I get artifacts where it joins the rest of the bevel. How can I get a nice clean bevelled text ?
2. If I select a whole word to be bevelled, quite often some of the letters get screwed up. E.g. letter Y. It produces weird stretching/overlapping/creases, etc. How to get nice clean text ?
Any help would be much appreciated. :)
Thanks,
Darshan
