Dear friend....

i am new to modo....

I know rhinoceros very well that is very engineering oriented programm with nurbs...

I found modo because i was searching for a organic modeling programm.... I want to rapid prototype the model i want to make in modo...

Is modo suitable for this?

i know .stl output is not there but it can output lightwave .lwo that one can import in cinema4d and from cinema4d it can be export to .stl....

One of my friend have c4d and he tested and its working fine... even its not loosing a single detail...

Check out www.vertexmonkey.com (http://www.vertexmonkey.com) for the .stl export script. :)

Eek... well, I'll take a look at that... but in order to export that model that you have in the background, you need to freeze (geometry -> Create -> Freeze) and Triangulate (Shift T) it might be having problems with that...

But now i have tried the method you tell... but still i am getting the same error....

Used the same chameleon object and no problems here. First froze it, then tripled the geometry and then ran the script.

Today i will install it on another computer at office...

I'd try it on a simple object, like a triangulated cube and see if there isn't something wierd going on with that object... if anything send me an e-mail dion at luxology.com and I'll work it out with you
