Or more extending it. This is just a simple question concerning animation in 3d studio max 7.

How do I extend the time line to exceed 100 frames? At the minute it wont let me go beyond 100 frames.

Can I change this and how.

Click on the Time Configuration Tool on the bottom row beside your viewport controls. It looks like a window with a clock at its bottom-right corner. When the Time Configuration window appears, set the End Time parameter to increase/decrease the number of frames at the end of your animation.

If you don't need to be so precise about setting an end time, you can hold down Control+Alt+Right Mouse Button anywhere over your timeline and drag your mouse either left or right.
