View Full Version : UV Problems:/

well i started to map my villager but iam having some problems... i mapped it with a cylinder and set it to subpatch for the interpolation. everything is ok when its not subpatched but when i subpatch it i get these black spots.. now i mapped the arm the same way and i dont get this problem:/ so any help would be great

It looks like you're missing some geometry in your UV map (the blackspots are
geometry thats not added to the UV map). I think whats happening is its probably a Very thin
line of polygons so when its not subpatched its so thin you dont notice it, but when it is subpatched the SP interopolation pulls the polys wider so you do notice it.

nah that didn;t work.. so i ended up doign it the endo way :D)
