3 sided patch???

Tri Patches? - Why yes they do!

Under the Create panel - there's an option for "tri patches".

Now - if you mean 3 sided as in a triangular structure then try welding two of the verts/handles on a tri patch ;)

(Also - if you create a simple triangle spline and use the surface modifier you'll get a 3 sided tri patch...)

yea thanks man.....
actually i feel kinda stupid now that i see the answer was so easy, but i was creating my patches by using planes, and then collapsing to editable patch.....i think it gives a 'cleaner' look......but yea i just made a tri patch and deleted a vertice to make the triangle i was going for....the quad patches didn't let me do that..............ok i'm rambling.......thanks


oh....and is it hot in monkey world or is the weather nice? :D
