Im just trying to find out what sort of sizes people work at also if for the final image they reduce the size.. (for example) working at 2000 then reducing the size to 1000 for the final image.

depends on the output...it varies.

so no one should work at the size that the final image will be ? im not sure if i should work at a larger size and reduce it for the final image.

depends....but more often than not i work at final size for print stuff
