Hiya guys, I know you all are anxious to see what we've been cooking, and believe me you won't be dissapointed. :D

The status on the site is 90% done interface wise, all I have to do is add the content and such..

I don't have an exact ETA on the backend Leo is currently engineering, but he's planning on integrating cgtalk with the cgchallenge site right down to the user level. The "council" has decided on the topic for November and I'll be putting up the info very soon.

Patience is all we ask, we want to do this right from the get go.

I'll keep you all updated as time goes on...

P.S. I'm still waiting for last months challengers to send me this http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25053 , please do immediately thx..

We promise this will be like none other, stay tuned

He'd better be, or I'll kick his ass!
Everyone just keep in mind: How much are we paying them to work on this website?
I personally can survive waiting for the next challenge, and should probably be studying instead of modelling, so I wish the devs good luck on the page. Good job, guys!

i really like the new cgchallenge site.....

a couple of ideas:

along with the thumbnail, maybe some info on 3d package used etc.

also,....don't know how hard this would be on the backend, but it would be cool to see the progression images without necessarily having to sort through the thread.

bottom line...new site rocks...great stuff.....i am going to try to make time to actually enter the next challenge

I actually like the idea of info on software used along with time it took...types of modelling,etc...

Is there going to be a forum overthere at all by chance? -- Maybe just a discussion forum even? -- Maybe even if the actuall CG Challenges Forums were moved overthere onto a different server would that help with some of the load on CgTalk?
