View Full Version : Worth the effort?
Disjekta 07-23-2005, 02:31 PM I've been using Maya for 2 years and would like to know, if I can do all the normal rigging and animation etc. is it worth using learning to use motion builder? I don't really know what it all has to offer and there is surprisingly little information about it. Could someone please let me know! thanks!!

If you go to 3DBuzz (http://www.3dbuzz.com) and go to their Downloads section (http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/sv_dl_tr.php) they have mega loads of VTMs (Video Training Material). They have a whole section on Motinbuilder from Version 4 to 6.
And it is worth watching all the version 4 ones as the 5 and 6 one only concentrait on the new features. The only big difference from 4 is the 'old motion blending' has been replaced with 'story mode' in the Standard versions of 5 & 6. Many, many hours of wiewing pleasure.
You'll soon find out every thing you need.
