ok my teapot cultists look a bit evil ...but they are a friendly bunch actually ..all they do is get together to chat over tea & cookies and occasionally sing some merry songs

I did have an idea for this but didn't have the inspiration to make it happen. So, this is my teapot HQ without any attack or muslims. :) 50 min used.

Erikoinen - I like the way you render the road. And I'm sure it's a riot in that teapot HQ.:p

Here's mine. I drew this while talking to my friend. Took longer than I thought. Didn't even read the news.O_o

Photoshop + Painter. a bit more than 2 hours.

For some reason it looks better on dark grey background.

Dos horas en una pelicula . . . uhmmm . . . shop. Plus a Spanish Dictionary written in French.

Shakey3d: Impressive use of perspective and coloring.

Pipichu: Wow. Clearly nothing distracts your skill. Beautiful charaters. The teapot sacrifice is fantastic. :bounce:

Erikoinen: Your speedy shading and texturing makes me envious.

Mirwen: I think you nailed the concept. A few people hate the Giant Teapot, so they tried to kill it. Just as your character is doing to that temple. Awesome flowing lines.

yAdam, Djimifett: Your sketches look to be ready to war.

Jasel: Great balance of saturated colors and linework.

MichaelMotion: Amazing volume to your figures, especially with the fingers and hands. Sharp looking colors, too. These two seem to REALLY like butchering teapots together. The portly vandal on the left seems to have let his hand slip a little too low on his comrades hip.

Vahn: Creepiest sketch of the day. They worship teapots with horns that breathe fire and farts.

That is one big TeaPot.

Shakey3d - Ahahaha. That's not a teddybear. I tried to draw a teapot shrine. It does look like a teddy like you said though, heheh.:D And yeah, it's gonna take a while to get used to the tablet. :)
ravioli_rancher - Thanks. I still need to improve my composition skill. I should try to draw from different angles. I like yours, too. Looks like one of the mobs' cloak is on fire though.. I just noticed the little guy in the teapot, hehehe.
keko - looks like the situation has come to a boiling point! Nice brushstroke~

The weird news headlines have been very hard...

Keko and Macdonald, I really like both of yours. Good composition and color usage and a good idea, respectively.

I hope it's okay to upload mine this morning. I don't have a scanner at home.

pencil sketch, 3 hrs.

Great entries all! Michael Motion, good to see you back.

Well, my internet has been acting up lately so I haven't been able to post until today. I also haven't been able to see what the other challenges were so I put a little extra time into this one. Approximately 8.5 hrs. Photoshop.
