hello everyone,
I Am animating a personal scene with the "generi" character rig and I want him to keep his hands on a steering wheel for some of the animation and off of it for other parts...I guess i'm looking for some way to have his hands follow a particular area of the steering wheel so I can make it look like he's turning the wheel slightly, but I also need to toggle this on and off. does anyone one know of a good way to go about this?

I appreciate any help!

Look at using Maya's parent constraints. You will have to constrain the IK handle to the wheel and you can animate the constraint's weight on/off.
