a general question
i got a cd from my frnd.its Ea sports cricket 2004.
i dumped it on my comp and installed it...but when i run it it asks me to insert the Cd rom
is there any way where can i run it without the Cd rom

Go and buy the game, then it may be legal to do so.

Personally I use www.gamecopyworld.com for all the games that demand I have the disc in the drive.

Thats a great site. Good for vacation when you bring the laptop and want to play all your games...just get the NO-CD fixes and leave the discs at home ;)
You could also creat an image of the game using alcohol 120 %
Another option is mount the image with Daemon tools. These two apps create "virtual" drives on your pc, having not to load disc 1 or 4 ..etc into the drive
This is primarily used for those who pirate games, or get copies :P
But go ahead and try that
