Hi can anyone tell me if i adding the muscles detail to this model i'm working on??
I started it 2 days ago and i'm tryingot get a natural look with the body, but i'm not sure how to add the detail to the abdominis muscles. I cant seem to get it to look the way it should look. Can anyone tell me what i need to do to correct it, and also do you think the leg details are there or am i way off on how it should look. I hope some one can give me some good advice on how to fix my problems.

what i like to do before i begin modeling is research what i'm modeling, lookin for photos and drawing. that way you can refer to that when you get stuck. even something like google images is great and searching for what you're looking for. hope that helps.

Let me help you on this one.

You modeled the abdominis by pushing edges and It ends up by looking flat and too defined. You want the lines to be smoother and not as strong as your example. You want the line to be subtle and to progressively give birth to the muscle. Each square of the abdominis is flat, you want to bump it in order to have this nice smooth transition (from edge to center).
The thigh on the leg seems to be way too big and develop, you want to smooth that out too. Remember it's always about proportion.

Good luck
