Greetings!

I was wondering if I could get some help from some talented camera match personel. :)

I was wondering if there is a way to correct the color when you place the animated material upon, say -- a plain. Every time I try to correct the color it completely stands out.

Example: http://universalsites.net/plaincorrect.jpg

Thanks,
Jonathan

Even though I am not entirely sure, I understand your question I will have a go at it anyway. It seems that it is really just a question of lighting in your scene. However it can be extremely difficult to match the light exactly of the original scene. The simple solutin would be to render the object indidually and the use som compositing software to merge the elements and color correct the rendered element.

There are loads of tutorials concerning camera matching, camera tracking, etc in 3ds Max. Go to help > tutorials.
