View Full Version : Inverting the whole animation...

Hi ppl!

My question is- how can I select all keys in my (lets say complex animation with multiple hierarchical objects that have multiple keys) and easily invert them so the animation starts from the last key and ends with the first one.

p.s: I use 7th MAX and Gmax (gamedev. version derived from 3dsmax's 4th version) and current problem ocurred in Gmax (So I can say MAX4).

Well, with gMax, you can reverse the animation by clicking on the 'Time Configuration' button long the bottom right of the gMax window(it's just to the right of the frame counter textbox.)

If you uncheck 'Real Time', the forward, reverse, and ping-pong options will become enabled.

Works the same way in Max 7.

Yea I think thats the way it should be done...but it doesnt do anything (reversed animation stays the same)
