View Full Version : Sir Gawain fighting the Green Hag (nudity)

This is an atempt to make an Illustration showing Sir Gawain fighting the Green Hag in the basement of her ancient castle.

She lives in her well, where she is waiting for victims to suck theํr bodies dry and feed herself with their live fluids. Sir Gawain is out on one of his many quests to slaugther her.

Ive started with sketches to define the hag in her human form before turning to the fight scene itself.

hahaha... cool!

The first hag in human form is quite revolting... particularly the drip from her... um... er... y'know...

How about some hair on the serpent version..?

oh yes...shes a dirty old woman!

ive tried concepts with hair..though it woulkd stick closer to the human form it didnt look as good in my opinion.
but if she can grow tentacles like that she can for sure un-grow hair! :)

This is looking fantastic. I'm loving the linework and the colors. I have to say, I love both versions of your hag, though the one you settled on is definitely more menacing. Great composition and dynamic posing, too. Can't wait to see more progress on this. :)

if any of you guys were wondering where the orange light is coming from.

im goin to add a firebreath to the hag...it will be in the next update

doesnt look like much of a progress at first sight...tough it was about 6 hours of work.
