will be a very cool challenge
just a very early rough test shot
still not sure of the actual sequence, but can only watch the visual effects of DAT dvd so many times.
a quick Photoshop mock up for one particular idea.
a early particle effect test

Very good work mate, one small crit though, you can see how light things are through the main fog layer, trying darkening the hole scene:)

stills from footage shot in Paris and 2 live action clips that will be used.
First clip is a pan down of the Lourve and the other is a pan down shot from the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Very nice snow! No crits about the snow.
In the first clip it looks like you can see the reflection of people in a window or something.
Is this something you wanted in the film or need to remove. I'm not sure how you would go about removing such a thing. I know tools like combustion have painting tools for each frame, but I don't know if you have such a tool.

The reflection of the people walking around will be removed from the first clip, Which was just 4 seconds of the big pan that was
shot from the top of the Eifel tower, through a window so the reflection comes from that.
Might go with the freezing of the Lourve glass pyramid shot, which i have started to work on a bit more.
Will post some updates tomorrow.

I have 256 frames to clean up in one shot and only 89 frames in another shot to be cleaned up.
From the footage shot through the observation windows of the Eifel tower.:scream:

Damn Luke, that sounds indeed really sad... I'd like to wish you all the best...
You could better take a rest, then stressing to get a final entry... It's sad that that great work (especially that awesome ice-shader...) you had till now won't be seen by too many people... You can maybe give it another try later - when you're back to normal life...
Again: I wish you all the best!

The voting thread will go up this Friday, so if you wish to tweak the entry you have until then.
