Well, I guess CGtalk doesn't support Safari at the moment... I cannot seem to attach a picture to this submission, or have an image appear...
Anyways, I just got a new wacom tablet, and I was trying to get a feel for it, but my friends were hanging out with me. So I didn't get to spend too much time with it. Still, I'd like to submit this picture from scratch. I am totally new to digital painting, so if anyone has any insights I would be delighted to hear them (I think I'll go read a couple tutorials...)

Let me know what you think. I think the face has a really strange quality at the moment. It seems to change right in front of my eyes...or is it just me?

There's nothing interesting about this character! Why don't you post a picture that actually has some work done to it! Loser!

Yeah dude... you're right.

It's not a very memorable or intersting drawing. I guess we'll have to see where it goes...

Firstly, you're a nutcase Py =)

Secondly, you said you're new to digital painting so don't sweat it. If you've done traditional oils or acrylic before, then I'd recommend getting a good book on photoshop/painter painting, a couple I suggest - and which I own are:

Painter: Painter Ix WOW! by Cher...something, her name is rediculously long.

Chacter Design and painting by don seegmiller - has both a painter and photoshop version.
