CGTalk - Lighting help for a n00b

Ive read this somewhere but for the life of me I cant remember how to do it.

What Im trying to do is have only one specific object receive light from a specific light. I think it has something to do with relationship editor and light linking?

Can someone please explain how to set this up.

take a look at

display -> relationship editors -> light linking -> light-centric or object-centric

i think it's self explanatory
