I better see it finished this time!
Just kidding, I should enter one of these fx wars some time, but I cannot seem to find the time now-a-days to do anything except work on our little L and N friends.

Yeay, I actually work on this FXwars so far!... I'm so proud, work is killing me, but I find time here and there to work on this when the boss isnt around....
I thought I was original with the whole "SNOWGLOBE" idea, but I guess not...
I just want to do one shot, although I may be disqualified for having no live action, but, I will have still photography for plates... does that count?...
I'm going to matte paint and project a few blocks of NY city... and then pull the camera out real fast to reveal Manhattan inside a snowglobe... would make a great commercial spot, so... i really wanna work on this...
so, here it is...

the first part will try to look photoreal, then as the camera pulls out, it will slowly fade to just a pewter and snow render, to look like a real cheap snowglobe....
I DID NOT model the city, a friend gave it to me, most likely from a company? who knows....
previs shot...

It looks goot so far!
I think itīs a really creative idea!
And if the clip comes with motionblur
itīs mutch more easy to fake reality...
Iīm really looking forward to see your
shot finisht...
