View Full Version : Animation: what is the best soft body dynamics system?

Hi to all,

I'm looking for an alternative for reactor's Soft Body dynamics system. I'm working on a character with a big belly that has to bump against objects and the floor. So collision is important.

The thing is, reactor is really slow, although I just use a small amount of vertices of an entire model (12K polys). I can't detach the belly because of the ugly seams.

In the early days we had Hypermatter for Max, but that's only available for Maya now.

So... where is that great great soft body dynamics system?
