I have a project element that I need rendered from a file provided by the client.

I need this element rendered with a matte and fill.

+/- 8 sec.

If anyone can render the element very quickly, I am very interested.

The file actually requries some additonal IK and animation work before rendering. It is a softimage xsi file (.scn).

Here is what Filext.com (http://filext.com) said it was:

.SCN Compressed Screen format
TrueSpace2 Scene
Pinnacle Studio Scene File (Info about scenes found in same named .AVI)
Scenario File For Many Games Including: Age of Empires, Age of Empires: Rise of Rome,
Seven Kingdoms, SimCity Classic, SimCity 2000, SimCity 3000, SimCity 3000 Unlimited

So, I am guessing that it is a TrueSpace2 scene. Hope that helps.

I downloaded the demo for truespace 6 last week to see if I could open the file and it didn't work.

I emailed one of the files to tech support for truespace and they had no success either.

Is this file native to any other software?

tmcgarvey, that is all the webpage said. I just cut and pasted the whole thing. I would go with Cman on this one. Just ask them.

That makes sense and of course, that was my first question.

It is a long story, but the client doesn't know.

I think it is a softimage file.

I have an old copy of Truespace2.(lightwaver now).
