Yeah, but never came to the point that I actually begun to model it :p
I do have a project on my NEP-list (Never Ending Projects) that is called: "DreamHouse". And I (still) also look for inspiration when I visit other houses (villa's :p ) or see nice images on the internet or so..
Don't have much to say about your chair though.. Looks nice so far. In what kind of program did you made the model?

It took about 5 minutes to model using NURBS in Amapi Pro 7.51. I might add corner feet to the chair. Or leave it as is. Maybe add chrome around the edges. I plan to model an International Style home to go around the chair.

It did take me awhile to figure out this was all I had to start with to make the chair.

I'd love to know how you did that. I'm not looking for a tutorial but I don't suppose you could just describe how you did it or may just tell us what tools you used?

Amapi Pro 7.51 from http://www.e-frontier.com was used. The vertical plane profile polyline was swepted along the horizontal plane polyline. Then thickness was added to form the chair's proper shape. A seperate cushion piece filled in the empty seat area. Lastly, chamfering was done to smooth some of the edges.

Here's the beginning of one of my favorite chairs from Le Corbusier. Modeled in Hexagon.

I decided to make the cushions more puffy. A Quick-Step modeling guide can be found at http://www.shonner.com/drafts/hexagon_grand_confort_chair.htm
