Create a new material.
In the color channel, load a texture.
Assign (drag) the new material to the plane.
Done.

Read the manual.

(An alternate method might've involved setting the picture to the background of your viewport.)

Unless he's asking how to get a gun on a plane.

Which in this day and age is impossible.

Gee, I don't know, but maybe this tendency gets stronger every time they see you post something insulting.

Yeah, but if you do not have a manual for AK 47...you could SWEAR it is a shotgun and asking help from here. :)))

Setting the picture to the viewport is easy. Go to the viewport menu. EDIT>CONFIGURE (or SHIFT-V). The viewport menu should open to the right. Go to the BACK tab and enter in your image location into the appropriate field.
