i downloaded the Ball Character (just a ball and some feet rigged to animate) and everything works except when i try to keyframe the rotates (x,y,and z) on one of the feet. Whatever the last keyframe position was is applied to the whole scene. When i select the foot contoller in the channel box, everything is yellow except for the rotate x, y, z which are pink. I'm using Maya 6.0, can someone please help me out!!!

if the attribute (rotate here) shows yellow, it has some function, probably expression linked to it. Right click on it and go to expression editor. That will give u some clue on what is happening to the joint.

If u want to just animate, there usually will be some control given externally to some locator or null node...

open the graph editor to see if there are any keyframes applied to it.

It could also be the setup of the foot roll, so check the foot heirarchy to see if there are any new channels created.

Yellow keyframes indicate that your character is recieving information from somewhere else, via connection editor. Purple channels would indicate expressions.
