Hi There, The last two day's I've been spending time on my newest piece. Tonight I gave the final touch to it and considered it as done.

I think he uses the additive transparency option to achiev that effect, no? And some PS-ing off course...

I like it, the white in the corner seems a little out of place, maybe continure the collision of color, or some purple like the top

That won't be possible :) this is a combination of multiple max renders, combined in photoshop and effects added by using different types of Layer Blending Modes and by overlaying other fullscreen renders.

I think the image have too much contrast, and the antialiasing (perhaps because of the color dodge) is lacking in some edges (specially the white ones). Try to "level" the images before applying them as a layer, and do not abuse the "hard" PS modes.
Sometimes a soft light is better than a color dodge ;)
It has some parts very detailed and some parts blurred. I think that would work better if the sharp and detailed parts were the focus of the scene.
