I dont want to be rude, but you could get a better effect rendering a prieview at full size of the max screen, with best transparency on..... your particles look like blobs, not steam..... you want to try to reduce the opacity and have far more parcticles on screen....

I would just ignore that post by chickensoup.. I guess he/she didn't check out the steam_test.avi which has some very nice steam in it.. anyways.. thanks for the tutorial-link! :)
