I'm trying to improve my modeling skills by modeling the face of a famous person. I chose Tom Cruise cause he's so recognizable and it was relatively easy to find reference photos to work from. I'm having some trouble with this model. I think he looks okay from the side view, but straight on there is something odd going on. I'm not sure if its the placement/size of the eyes...or just a combination of the eyes/nose/lips in general. Any comments and critiques would be appreciated.

Here's one of my reference photos:

Here's a little further along. I tried laying my screen shots from maya over the face in photoshop to see how things lined up. It wasn't pretty. I moved the ear forward in the side view, and shrank the chin. The eyes are little wonky right now. Any help?
