I just reimaged my sytem and upgraded to LW8.3 from 7.x and reinstalled Messiah Animate with all the latest patches and LWMASTERS8.cfg in my lw8.cfg directory (c:\documents and settinggs\administrator). When I open LW8 layout I can't figure out how to launch messiah unless add a deformation plugin to a null and double click it. You used to be able to use be able to launch it right from the layout interface. I'm not very bright when it comes to these things - can someone please tell me how eaily you do this now?

This doesn't directly answer your query but I would keep LW and Animate completely separate and use Point Oven Pro to 'join' them. It's a much lower risk/lower overhead solution that is working really well for me and lots and lots of others.

I have to agree. I recently tried to do the same thing and ended up purchasing Point Oven. Point Oven is such a great tool to have in your arsenal. I have to work with Maya as well, so it really opens up my options

Utilities -> Plugins -> Additional -> messiah:interface

Its also very easy to add a custom button to launch messiah.

I like Point Oven but. . . sometimes this just feels more "connected".
