Hey people I need advice.This is the concept.

My question is, IS THIS worth modeling down to the skulls hanging over his shoulder and the belt arroud his waist???

looks pretty cool. i'd like to see more dangly bits from the ear bite... and maybe bite and chew marks on the rest of his body... he obviously lived through the one that got part of his ear; what other horrible encounters might he have marks from?

looking good.

the only thing that really bothers me is the seam down the middle of the head. it's ok at the eyebrows, but everywhere else it's pretty noticeable.

the nostrals seems a bit large, but then again, they do add character...

typically, the eyes should look down a bit more, unless he's tilting his head down and looking up.

what happened to the ear bite?

keep up the good work.

The seam on the middle is there cause I've worked only on one part of the head and then doubled it in the opposite direction.

The ear bite is gonna come on after I turn the dude to editable mesh.

i got it now. just be sure to do tests to check to make sure the seem will be ok when put alltogether... i've had a rew instances where it *looked* like it would be fine, but when i joined them, the seems was still quite visible (puckers and dips and such).

I already welded together and it looks fine, thx for all the replis, it seems you were the only one interested in this char, I wonder, is it THAT bad???

i wouldn't worry about that too much. we all have our swings as far as replying to posts... somedays i talk all over the place, and the a few days with hardly a peep...

most importantly, DO WHAT MAKES *YOU* HAPPY. especially personal work. if it makes you happy to work on it, if it makes you improve your skills, even if it is just to get you out of a slump, who cares if no one knows/replies, for whatever reason? we'd all like to have every post have a zillion replies and a 6 star rating, but what's important is your opinion of your work.

also, it's hard to critique something that falls outside what you typically work on (like those violin posts... nice, but i know next to nothing about violins). i try to help when i can, but sometimes i'm just stumped on what to say. or the few things i might say have already been said... i hate chiming in and adding noting new to a thread...

um... i guess i'll stop rambling now...

no problem. that's what we're here for :)

btw- once you get the head mirrored and welded together, don't forget to mess with the features a bit to make him nonsymmetrical... stuff like making his nose a little crooked, an eyebrow hogher that the other, etc...
