Hi,

Check this out, it's actually designed by Porsche Design GmbH....Looking good so far:

So, let's see...

It's bigger, thicker, heavier and, despite being designed by Porsche, somehow still doesn't attain the same level of sleekness...

If it wasn't for the 4-M processor, I'd really be scratching my head over Best Buy's decision to build this.:surprised

Yep, it looks good...until you read those specs. I think best buy will need to do much more.

Although it's of little use to the graphic artist, I'm interested in hearing the sound. As far as I know if you wanted 24/192 upsampling you could only get it through expensive auiophile equipment.
PC magazine has a review on this notebook. They say it only has a 4200 rpm HD.

Cf!,

In every laptop, hard drives have always been the bottleneck, so that speed shouldn't really surprise ppl.

However, compared to the G4, it looks much more squarish and not as sleek as someone mentioned above.

In terms of aesthetics, hands down, the Powerbook :)
