Job Description: Maya/Xsi shading/rendering lead TD
Axis are looking for an experienced Xsi/Maya technical Director to work on look development (ie shading/rendering) on upcoming projects, general pipeline development (specifically render man and mental ray integration with maya) and to also possibly provide onsite XSI training to our inhouse team.
Potential candidates would ideally be experienced in setting up and supporting rendering pipelines in both xsi and maya and have production experience using both mental ray and renderman in a maya based pipeline. We will also consider candidates with experience in either maya or XSi only.
Requirement:
2 to 3 years experience using XSI and/or maya in a production environment (games, broadcast, commercials or film)
applications should be accompanyed by a recent reel in either dvd, cd or vhs format and a CV that outlines relevant experience and skills
Duration:
Positions would initially be based on 3 to 6 month contracts with the possibility of full time employment after that period
