View Full Version : WIP : Armored Vehicle
birEn 07-14-2005, 12:18 AM Hey guys,
been quite sometime since i posted anything. well here's something i was working one. The goal is to make a full functional Armored vehicle.... trying to put in every detail i can think of and/or i observe =). the last image with the body work, its sort of the look of the bodywork i was going for but i would have to fix it to work with the mechanics. so far... the steering mechanism and the suspension are completely functional. Rigging as i go.... reduces work later on. newayz hoping to get some crits on it... anything at all... =D.
peace!

Hey guys,
3d_paradox : Thanks =)!
magnumstar : Brought up a good point ... =) 3 reasons, gonna make as much stuff functional on it as possible. Wanted to try rigging up a vehicle, and love the challenge =). as it was a personal project i wanted to see how far i can push it.
and of course.... EYECANDY!! =)... lol hope that makes sense.
i'll keep updating this =).
Peace!

Hello ppl!
3d_paradox : haha... thanks :P.
Made some changes to it... removed the second cabin which was originally for the gunner. figured out that it would get in the way for the design of guns i had and... well it wud be an overall pain :D... and of course a bad concept. did some more work... making some space under the hood for a generator and the driving control... well mostly driving mechanism for the whole thing :P.... should be fun. here's the update

great detailing Biren. I realize you now have a job in Canada. Congrats, and i'll me working in the same studio your collegue Tessa is in. How did the paperwork go by the way with the Visa, did Andi Wijaya get his too?
Very nice till now! I love the work you have done with all the mechanism for the suspensions and stuff, but may I suggest one thing?
-Yes, you may!! :)
Well I think that the body of the vehicle should be less organic! With less till null curves! Take as an example the Hummer of the US Army! It is more aggressive! Yours I believe is like a beach buggy with that boddy!
Sorry if I spoilled your happy thoughts for your project, but this is what I think!!!
But once again, GREAT WORK on all the other parts!
