WIP WIP WIP WIP (couldn't resist - had to post but it looks ugly..)

I want to learn to boxmodel cars with hypernurbs. This is my first attempt with a big help from the good old Chevy-tut. This is taking all my time!!:bounce: :bounce:

I would like to get rid of the softness on the shape - maybe get it a bit "tighter" and compact. But this is just the beginning. Any hints so far? Point by point modeling has also become familiar and I'm learning a whole lot of new techniques...

The model is done without any blueprints except those in my head....Whatever looks good does it for me......

looks nice but four things I would do are:

1)stretch the car a little bit as it looks a little squashed (although this could just be the camera angle?)
2)tighten the doors to the body
3)round over the tyres and add grip (but that was already on your mind i'm sure)
4)keep up the great work;)

I send you a personal message over@myboard.
Will start a tutorial. I said maybe monday you'll see the first parts.
Hope you find the time to wait or just continue with your nice start here.

Some adjustements - the red one is the latest. It's hard to decide when to make the hybernurbs cage editable - with the red one IŽll have to go back and edit the mesh a lot more (the door is awful and no side windows..) But I needed to test how to make the lamps and window when the HN is made editable....This is a slow project..........

I agree with derwolpertinger. As for the white one, hood is too high. A driver could not see passersby. Other parts are excellent.:)
