SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
INTELLIGENT CREATURES is a premier Visual Effects Company located in Toronto, Canada that works exclusively on Feature Films.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated System Administrator and Technical Specialist who will have pride and dedication about their work.
Responsibilities:
Design, administer and assess performance of production services and systems with the goal of high availability and performance, and efficient production pipeline.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in Linux and Windows system administration.
– Excellent understanding of the VFX production.
– Superb scripting skills – csh/bash, windows, perl.
– Excellent knowledge of linux/samba servers, networking, and switch configuration.
– Render farm configuration, maintenance and management.
– Experience with large data stores, HA clusters, Fibre Channel and intense client/server environments.
– recognized Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Services course and/or 6+ years working experience as a system administration in a medium to large company.
– 3+ years experience as a system administrator in a digital production environment.
