I'm new to painting and I would like to learn how to paint in a conceptual way (sketchy almost). I like the look of Ryan Churches work and other concept artists.

I'm using Painter IX right now, but I can't seem to find tutorials that show you nice techniques.

Any advice or guidance? Thanks! :D

The Gnomon Workshop has some videos by Ryan Church, if you're willing to invest money in them.
