It would be smarter to download the "ZB-practical guide" and follow some of the tutorials on making and rendering a scene ,then to wait if someone is willing to explain this "basic" question !....but perhaps you mean : How do i render a scene in a way i'm used to in my 3D-program !...thats is not so easily to explain, it's more like a 2D- program if you want to set up a scene and render it in Z-brush !
You can't bring on all the models ,light's and camera's and start experimenting with their positions,..in Z-brush you must have a definite idea of you scene, bring in the models, one by one- you can't move them if they are "dropped to the canvas" - notice the word "canvas" not a very 3D "sort of word" - and if you have all your models on the canvas you can only change the position of the lights and the materials on these models !
but, please download the practical guide ... if your a newbie you are gonna need it !
