Can anyone help!! Is there a plug in available for lightwave that will convert a model created in the program to vector artwork that can then be opened in illustrator and worked with as an illustrator file. Will Swift 3D do this?

Thanks for any help, cheers Sootin

Swift will do this but you need the plugin for it....www.erain.com (http://www.erain.com/). (I think it will open .obj natively but you lose some control over the mesh.)

Also elyisium 3d tiger does this with AI ....www.hotdoor.com (http://www.hotdoor.com/)

Ok Swift is your best bet. Poor elysium http://www.3d-tiger.com/
Really awesome plug-in

If you just want the model and not a render, you can export an Encapsulated PostScript file straight from Modeler. Probably not what you're looking for, but just in case!
