I'm working on a 5k polygons Boba Fett model for Jedi Academy. The mesh is almost done, here're a couple of renders:

I cant wait to run around in the game with this model, once textured it'll be one of the best customs for JA. Keep up the great work.

nothing to crit rally.
i am wondering why the armour on his chest is done with seperate poly's though.
why not just put it in the texture?
makes me wish i hadn't sold my JA game.

The armor is a diffrent mesh so I can turn it on and off in JA. I take another look you'll see the gaunlets, the kneeguards and the shoulder pads are also made separately.
Looking at Ivars' Che Guevara I figured a way to make the cargo pockets look much more real and smooth, so I'm gonna remake the pockets soon.

Nice mesh, good topology. Coming along nicely, AgustinLV.
looks very cool. I am a little worried about the chest plates... Not sure it will deform well when animated. I think you did an awesome job though just keep us updated. Oh one other thing he looks a tad thicker than the movie version. Like stronger looking.

I modelled everything with deformation in mind, except for the chest plate =\. I'll tweak it once I have it rigged, and add loops where it's needed. I'm gonna rig it next, tweak the mesh so it deforms almost perfectly, and then UV map it.

I'm going to add the wookie scalps and the large piece of fabric on his right shoulder soon. Also the tubes connecting the flamethrower to the jetpack are missing.

Updated the renders, the wookie braids are there now, the thing hanging from his other shoulder too, and the tubes for the flamethrower.

It looks promising. i can't see your original images for some reason, only the ingame ones but double check your smoothing groups, it looks like you might have some issues there..

Yeh, the untextured parts look like crap. Once I texture them I'll work more on the smoothing and the hard edges to remove as many artifacts as I can.
