Would you like to work for a company who are working on the ultimate in game play, offering an extremely creative environment without politics? They are currently looking to hire a highly talented Character Artist to work on their hotly anticipated PS3 action adventure title with an underlying martial arts theme.
The Character Artist will work within the Character Team and report to the Art Producer.
He/she will be responsible for creating high-end characters suitable for the power of PS3
Professional games industry experience is absolutely essential. The successful candidate must have worked on a least one major released console title or high-end CG feature film production.
You should possess a strong understanding of real-time and high-poly (subdivision surfaces) modelling constraints; deep knowledge of high-poly and subdivision surface modelling; thorough knowledge of Maya and Z-brush modelling is a plus but experience with other 3D packages will be considered.
A good understanding of current and next generation techniques is a big plus (ambient occlusion, surface information extraction). The successful candidate witll be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Location: UK (Cambridge)
Salary: £negotiable doe + good benefits package
