VEHICLE / TRACK MODELER



Our client is a well established high profile video game developer based around London, who specialise in the creation of AAA video games based on original and licensed properties on a variety of genres and platforms. Due to an exciting new project they are now urgently looking for a talented and creative Vehicle modelers and Track Artists with a strong artistic skill base and proven experience on 1-2 quality console titles.

Your Primary Responsibilities will be to produce artwork as directed by Development Manager/Lead Artist or Producer/Project Leader and interface with programmers as necessary to bring tasks to completion.
You’ll provide feedback to tools group regarding bugs, error messages, and potential changes, and provide creative and design input on your tasks. You should be at an advanced level in at least one of the following software packages: Photoshop; Illustrator/Freehand; 3dStudio MAX; Softimage; or Maya. Previous experience on at least 2 released console games is essential.

skills:
Excellent 3D modelling and texturing skills
Proficiency with two or more 3D Art Packages (experience of Lightwave would be an advantage but is not essential)
Understanding of efficient models and texture layouts
Passionate about videogames
Depending upon skills and experience roles include world creation, vehicle design and modelling, character design and modelling, concept work, early design prototyping & analysis, pre-vis work including the production of pitch and marketing assets.



This is a permanent role paying £20k - £30k
